Hi, I’m Austin Richmer, founder of Slate Insurance, serving families and businesses across Indiana and Kentucky. After spending the past 4.5 years working in the insurance industry, I decided to take what I’ve learned and start something of my own, a place where personal service and genuine care come first.

I started Slate Insurance with a simple goal: to help people find coverage that truly fits their needs. Insurance can be complicated, but it doesn’t have to feel that way. My goal is to make sure you understand your options, get the right protection, and feel confident that what you’re paying for actually makes sense for you and your family.

I may not always be the cheapest option, but I believe in being transparent and making sure your coverage does what it’s supposed to do when you need it most. I think good insurance is all about giving you peace of mind, not just a low rate.
